Abyss Towels. We think you will be pleased with any of the Abyss Towel offerings, we have used many of the styles, and while they all have different textures and "hand", they are universally great towels. Especially popular Abyss Towels include the Abyss Super Pile & Abyss Twill patterns. There is a reason Abyss Towels are often at the top of the "Best Of" lists in publications such as The Wall Street Journal and O magazine. Be sure to see the coordinating bath rugs in the Habidecor line.
Choosing
an Abyss towel is a personal matter. Some people prefer the very soft, long loop Abyss Super Pile, and
others may wish to opt for the pattern of feel of the Abyss Twill towels, they are all extremely popular options. We have used many of
the towels here and they are all good and distinctly different.
Usually it comes down to feel, color options, and size availability.
When choosing a towel you should consider the following: a. The type and quality of the material b. The length of the loops. Longer loop towels will usually be softer and often more absorbent. c. The density of the loops. A towel with a a greater number of loops per square inch indicates it will be more absorbent.
Based
on the above criteria, you generally will want to look for a heavier
towel with longer loops. The weight of the towel is usually shown on
the towel packaging, with a figure of 600 gsm and higher (grams per
square meter) indicating a good towel.
